  • Where is Alive at Five?  

The event takes place in a different downtown location every week; stay tuned for the 2017 line-up!

  • When is Alive at Five? 

Alive at Five takes place from 5 to 9 pm, every Wednesday night during the months of June, July, & August.

  • How much does it cost?

Nothing!  Alive at Five is free and family-friendly. Everyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy. Food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are available for purchase. Stay tuned for a list of 2017 vendors!

  • Who puts on the event? 

Alive at Five is organized and produced by Downtown Helena, Inc., a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to promote and publicize Downtown Helena in our community; encourage and develop a spirit of cooperation among members; establish and develop cooperative advertising and promotional campaigns activities; foster favorable public relations for Downtown Helena in various communities, organizations and agencies in the area served by Downtown Helena.

The event is planned and produced by a volunteer planning committee who dedicate many, many months of time and energy. There are also many entities working together to make the event possible, including but not limited to Helena Parks and Recreation, Helena Police Department, the Helena Business Improvement District and all the generous sponsors whose continued support keeps Alive @ 5 free and open to the public for everyone to enjoy!

  • Where do the proceeds from the event go? 

Proceeds from Alive @ 5 go towards keeping the event free and open to the public. From musician fees to porta johns, it costs a great deal of funds to produce the event and make it better each year. Also, proceeds from Alive @ 5 help support the important work of Downtown Helena, Inc., a non-profit business membership organization dedicated to promoting the heart of the community: downtown!
