150th Anniversary Alive @ Five Breaks Attendance Record
July 18, 2014, Helena, MT - Downtown Helena Inc.’s Alive @ Five signature 150th anniversary event on July 16th featuring Mission Mountain Wood Band broke Alive @ Five attendance records with an estimated 6,000 people.
Mission Mountain Wood Band started the evening with a tribute to the history of Helena and Wednesday’s celebration. In typical MMWB fashion, they built momentum and kept the crowd engaged for two hours 30 minutes straight with their signature blend of Montana inspired bluegrass, country rock, and folk style music. Thank you MMWB for a wonderful celebration.
This event was made possible through the generosity of the City of Helena Parks and Recreation Department; premier sponsors First Interstate Bank and Mountain West Bank; perennial wristband sponsor Valley Bank; beverage distributors Sandy Macs, George’s, Mountain Country, Lehrkinds and Gusto; the vendors; the volunteers from First Interstate Bank, Mountain West Bank, Bert and Ernies, and Hellz Bellz; and our Alive @ Five Committee and Staff. Without their support, an event like this would not be possible.
“Alive @ Five is possible through the generosity of our sponsors, our vendors and distributors; our volunteers; and the City of Helena Parks. This week we really want to thank everyone who made the 150th Celebration Alive @ Five so wonderful,” said Tracy Reich, Executive Director of the Helena Business Improvement District and Downtown Helena Inc. “Mission Mountain Wood Band made the evening a memorable one for Helena’s anniversary and a memorable evening for all who were there.” Thank you to everyone who attended.
Alive @ Five continues July 23rd with 10 Years Gone in Performance Square from 5 – 9 pm.
