My philosophy in doing business is that we do business with those we know, we like and we trust. It’s essential.
You may want to know my background. I am proud to have served in a great variety of industries, from restaurants in my teenage and high school years, to the hotel industry in my college years, and then in media sales advertising and marketing, serving a variety of industries. All of these have been great and have taught me a lot ~ these experiences lead to serving my clients well.
My office is located at 849 Great Northern Boulevard in the Great Northern Town Centre.
MOSAIC is a continued collaboration of Montana Architects, Ben Tintinger and Jeff Downhour that began 25+ years ago. After establishing a new practice in Helena, Montana in 1994, the firm has evolved into the design driven and community oriented studios of MOSAIC Architecture. With a staff of ten, including five registered architects, Mosaic’s award winning, regionally grounded work includes some of Montana ‘s largest urban developments as well as very modest, small scale homes. MOSAIC’s studio is located on the historic Last Chance Gulch in Helena, Montana.
Through a design philosophy that is centered around the idea of collaborative design, MOSAIC is committed to providing our clients with the highest quality and performance buildings. As architects, we engage all participants in learning about a place through its history, its people and its connections and together, envision a place that defines its own character. Our ability to solve problems, coordinate and organize the project team, and provide appropriate design has been the cornerstone of delivering successful projects throughout the Northwest.
Mosaic excels at bringing teams of people together to accomplish community projects. We take great pride in our project management skills and approach to successful architecture. That success is grounded in excellent communication. To create truly responsive designs, we must listen and learn from the local culture, the people, and the surroundings of a place, both current and historical. In turn, we communicate our solutions with an understanding that we all perceive our world differently, and that our approach must respond accordingly. The result will be a great project where excellent design, function and collaboration are integral.
The Placer is a great place to live and work in the heart of Helena. In its fourth year as an active condominium residence, and as it approaches its 100th anniversary, The Placer continues to attract residents, not only from Montana, but from all over the country. A century ago, this beautiful pre-war building was one of the largest and most impressive hotels west of the Mississippi River. For decades, it was the unofficial home of the Montana State Legislature and a hotbed of political intrigue. In keeping with roles it has played in the past, The Placer lobby has also hosted art shows, Montana Shakespeare Festival theater presentations, and events such as birthday and anniversary parties, organizational meetings, and wedding receptions. The Placer Condominium Association is actively pursuing its role as historical caretaker of this beautiful residence. Association events include the annual holiday party, movie nights and seasonal atrium garden planting days. Today, it is a thriving vertical neighborhood within a neighborhood of residents and commercial business people in the heart of the Queen City – looking forward to the next 100 years.
