KTVH is the NBC affiliate in Helena, Montana, and broadcasts the city’s only live newscast. As such, the station possesses a unique connection to the community. Employees of the station often donate their time to local causes, and the station sponsors a number of organizations, including Special Olympics and Race for the Cure.

Montana Free Press is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit source for Montana news, information, and analysis. Our mission is to produce in-depth public-service journalism that creates positive change and helps move society toward justice and equity.
