Why did you choose to sit on the board in a volunteer capacity?

I chose to sit on the DHI board because our community is stronger with more participation and if we all work to make our downtown a better place we can change it together.

What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

The thing I love most about downtown Helena are the people. They are the reason our downtown is so unique.

What is your affiliation to downtown?

My name is Riley Tubbs and I am a co-owner of an Ten Mile Creek Brewery and I was born and raised in  helena Montana

I am excited to assist downtown Helena into developing into a more vibrant and dynamic community, while still maintaining its historic roots

What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

I love walking around downtown, and running into all the amazing friends, business owners, and characters that make up our community.

What is your affiliation to downtown?

I am the owner of the Western Bar and Gold bar, on the 400 Block of downtown Helena!

The people!

What is your affiliation to downtown?

I have worked at Valley Bank of Helena for the last 7 years. I have worked at each of our 5 convenient locations in that time, but my last 3 years have been at our amazing branch downtown.

What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

The energy and vibe of the people that work and shop/recreate downtown.

What is your affiliation to downtown?

I am the managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/Montana Properties. We have an awesome location right next door to Park Avenue Bakery.

Why did you choose to sit on the board in a volunteer capacity?

I have always enjoyed the downtown setting. Helena is a very intimate little downtown with so much history. Downtowns bring people together and keep the spirit alive. I chose to be on the board to connect Local and Visitors to our downtown treasure.

What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

Downtown has so much to offer…good food, good beer, good atmosphere and all in walking distance. Accessibility whether biking or walking is easy. I enjoy the small business owners doing their best to offer our small community something unique.

What is your affiliation to downtown?

I am the Owner of Great Divide Cyclery at 336 N. Jackson Street. I own two buildings and really enjoy investing and donating to Helena. We are a bike shop that brings many cyclists to the City of Helena and truly contributes to the town.

Why did you choose to sit on the board in a volunteer capacity?

I would love to join fellow volunteers to help plan the direction and promotion of downtown events, planning, marketing, and growth, with the focus of supporting our members. I think I have the expertise and history that would benefit the businesses, community, and tourists that we’d be supporting.

 What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

Being raised in Helena, downtown was a big part of my youth. From working at On Broadway, The Windbag and even volunteering at the Holter, to supporting downtown businesses and attending downtown events and years of hanging with friends at the library green space, downtown Helena was part of what shaped my youth. My heart is here and a part of my present, my future, and the present and future of my children. We love our community.

 What is your affiliation to downtown?

I own Proof Marketing and the building, 330 N Last Chance Gulch. I also co-own The Virago Collaborative. I also work closely with Mickey and Mike, DHI and BID, and support the growth of many downtown businesses through bold marketing.

Why did you choose to sit on the board in a volunteer capacity?

I want to help build up the collaborative culture of downtown Helena. Growing up in Helena, I have seen the downtown area grow significantly and excitingly and I want to be a part of the growth that comes with the future!

 What do you love most about Downtown Helena?

I love how close-knit and welcoming Downtown Helena is. There is something for all ages and all interests and it shows how much the downtown area is here for community. It brings people from all walks of life together and encourages creativity and expression.

What is your affiliation to downtown?

I am the Development Director at the Holter Museum of Art. We have the wonderful opportunity to partner frequently with DHI and other downtown affiliates for community events and opportunities!
