Ghost Art Gallery

The Ghost Art Gallery was established in 1974 in the historic mining district of Helena. The original gallery was small and offered mostly paintings of buildings and themes from the several surrounding ghost towns; thus the name Ghost Art.

Our framing and design area is located above the gallery in what used to be Big Dorothy’s brothel. Ghost Art Gallery has grown to 4200 square feet and specializes in western and wildlife art, featuring over 80 of Montana’s finest artists.

We carry limited edition art from the following publishers: Greenwich Workshop, Mill Pond Press, Hadley House, and Somerset House Publishing. Along with art we have the highest quality framing with certified picture framers on staff.

Boxwoods

Boxwoods opened in the spring of 2003 with the idea of offering well-made furniture that looked great. We brought in styles and brands that were not being offered in Helena. Boxwoods made a commitment to be located in Helena’s beautiful historic downtown and being a part of the community is very important to us. We are invested in Helena and the great people who live and work here.

Boxwoods is a small, interior design oriented shop that has beautifully styled, upholstered pieces along with case goods that compliment any decor. Boxwoods owner, Danielle Fowler, along with Brittany Minor, manager, shop major markets up to four times a year. That way, we can stay on the current trends as well as offer traditional and transitional home furnishings. Along with upholstered pieces and case goods, we carry area rugs, lamps, home accessories and gifts of distinction. You will love our unique candles, dishware, seasonal florals, linens, and holiday décor. We also offer beautiful jewelry, candy, and body lotions for great gift ideas too.

Customer service is of the utmost importance. We spend the time needed to insure proper fit and choose styles that enhance the client’s home.
